Transfer the batter to a parchment-lined loaf pan and spread evenly.
Peel and cut the apples into small pieces.
Add granulated sugar and cinnamon to the chopped apples.
Mix until the apples are evenly coated.
Add the cinnamon-coated apples over the batter and spread evenly.
In a separate bowl, combine light brown sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture over the apples and gently swirl it into the batter.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool completely.
Combine powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract until a smooth glaze forms.
Spread the glaze evenly over the cooled bread.
Cut the bread into slices.
