I had a couple of apples ready to use and wanted to turn them into something that felt a little more special than a standard apple loaf. Chopped apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon worked their way into a soft batter, with another layer of cinnamon running through the center. A simple glaze over the cooled loaf finishes it without making the recipe complicated.
The bread has a tender crumb with small pieces of cinnamon-coated apple throughout, while the brown sugar swirl adds extra sweetness and spice. The glaze gives the top a smooth finish and makes each slice feel a little more complete. If you enjoy apple and cinnamon bakes, Apple Cinnamon Crumb Muffins and Cinnamon Roll Muffins are also worth trying.
