Protein Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Protein Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

I had some oats and chocolate protein powder on hand and wanted to turn them into something that could work as a quick homemade snack.

These cookies combine rolled oats, whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, and chocolate-flavored whey with a simple butter-based dough. A few chocolate chips on top give them a little extra sweetness once they come out of the oven.

The cookies have a hearty oat texture with a soft center and a noticeable chocolate flavor from the cocoa and protein powder. They are easy to portion into individual cookies and keep the ingredient list fairly straightforward.

If you enjoy oat-based bakes, Oatmeal Cookies and Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins are two more recipes to try.

These cookies are a practical way to bring oats and chocolate protein powder into a homemade bake without making the process complicated.

The combination of oats and whole wheat flour gives them a substantial texture, while cocoa and chocolate chips keep the chocolate flavor noticeable.

After a short chill in the refrigerator and a 20-minute bake, the cookies are ready to cool and portion for an easy snack.
